Today’s selection is “The Peace of Wild Things” written and read by Wendell Berry for a poetry film by Charlotte Ager & Katy Wang. To view and listen to the poetry film, click here. To read and listen to the poem, click here.
Prompts:
1. Begin with “lie down where…” 2. Begin with “day-blind stars”. 3. Draft a poem that explores despair. 4. Choose a poem (one of your own or a favorite written by another) that prompts you to create a visual companion to it. Illustrate it with drawings or make a collage of images you find on-line or cut them out from magazines, etc. You could also sculpt using clay, textiles, or any materials that inspire you. Have fun.
